Every year, more than 60 million pheasants, partridges, and ducks are intensively bred, factory farmed, and released into the countryside so they can be shot for entertainment. Behind the polished PR of the shooting industry lies a hidden world of suffering: overcrowded cages, relentless stress, routine mutilations, disease, and utter disregard for the welfare of the birds they exploit.
