Why It Matters
The Wildlife Raffle Club is a new, exciting way to support our vital work protecting British wildlife — from undercover investigations and animations, to report writing and lobbying politicians.
Your £5/month supports real action, and helps grow the movement to fight for the wild.
📜 Terms & Conditions
These rules apply to monthly prize draws held by Protect the Wild, trading under a Small Society Lottery registered with Camden Council, in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005.
1. Eligibility
- Open to UK residents aged 16 years or older only.
- Entrants must be subscribed at £5/month via our Stripe payment link.
- Each £5 = 1 entry per month (e.g. £10 = 2 entries).
- Subscriptions must be active on the 1st of each month to be included in that month’s draw.
- Protect the Wild staff, trustees, and their immediate family are not eligible to enter.
2. The Draw
- Each draw will take place live on Protect the Wild’s Facebook page on or around the 5th of each month.
- Entries will be exported from Stripe and checked for active status.
- Each entrant will be assigned a number and drawn at random.
- Each draw includes:
- 1x Main Prize Winner
- 2x Runner-Up Winners
- Winners will be contacted by email within 48 hours and announced publicly on social media.
- Prizes may vary in value month to month but will always be aligned with Protect the Wild’s ethics and mission.
3. Prizes
- Prizes will be announced at least 5 days before the draw, via email and social media.
- Prizes may include physical items, digital rewards, or exclusive experiences.
- Protect the Wild reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.
- No cash alternative is available.
4. Payment and Refunds
- Entry is via monthly subscription only. No standalone tickets.
- Payments are handled securely by Stripe.
- Entries are non-refundable. If a subscriber cancels, they will not be entered into future draws.
5. Legal
- This raffle is registered as a Small Society Lottery with Camden Council.
- All proceeds go toward Protect the Wild’s charitable mission.
- Promoter: Rob Pownall, Protect the Wild, [your registered address].
- We promote this raffle in a socially responsible way and do not target underage or vulnerable individuals.
❓FAQs
Q: Is this a donation?
A: No. This is a payment for entry into a prize draw and is not eligible for Gift Aid.
Q: Can I enter if I live outside the UK?
A: Unfortunately, no. This lottery is only open to UK residents aged 16+.
Q: Can I enter more than once?
A: Yes! Each £5 gives you one entry. £10 = 2 entries, £15 = 3 entries, etc.
Q: What if I cancel my subscription?
A: You’ll be removed from future draws, but still entered if your payment was active on the 1st of the month.
Q: Can existing Protect the Wild donors join too?
A: Yes – but they must sign up separately via the raffle payment link.
