Legacies - a gift for wildlife

Leaving a gift in your Will

Our work aims to change the way we think about and treat wildlife. In just two years, from our beginnings as a small group of activists, we have accomplished a great deal – funding investigations, creating animations, supporting animal rescues – but there is so much more to do so that people and wildlife can co-exist.

Will you help by leaving a gift in your Will?

Leaving a gift in your Will to Protect the Wild is a way to keep putting your beliefs into action, long after your lifetime. Through campaigning, educating, and investigating we can continue to expose wildlife criminals, unearth their sordid activities, and consign the hunting and shooting of wildlife to the history books. Any gift you choose to leave, however small or large, will support this work for years to come.

Having an up-to-date Will is of course vital to protecting your family’s future. Once you have provided for your loved ones and friends, a gift to Protect the Wild will help us to stop hunting and shooting wildlife in the UK – for good.

Thank you for considering leaving a gift in your Will to Protect the Wild.

Protect the Wild Ltd is not a charity.

Charities have found it increasingly difficult to speak out, so we took a conscious decision to remain a campaigning organisation.

Your gift will be vital to help us continue our vital work here in the UK – no matter who is in power.

How to find a solicitor

There are numerous Will-writing services offered online and while recommending a solicitor is outside our area of expertise you can quickly find one in your area by contacting the Law Society.

Contact them in England   (020 7242 1222), Scotland   (01131 226 7411), Northern Ireland   (0289 023 1614).

Your personal information

The information you give is an important personal choice and we always treat it with the utmost confidence. You do not have to tell us if you have left a gift in your Will (and even if you do tell us, you can change your mind at any time by changing your Will).

It would be very helpful, however, if you could let us know your intentions. Just email Rob Pownall at pownall@protectthewild.org.uk. This will enable us to thank you for your support and keep you up to date with our work.

Thank you for helping us by considering leaving us a gift in your Will.
