Every year millions of pheasants and partridges are bred in factory farms – crammed into crowded, noisy, and dirty sheds and cages – before being rdumped into the countryside and shot for sport.

THIS HAS TO END.

The shooting industry is built on the suffering of animals, yet it enjoys significant cultural legitimacy, legal protection, and public subsidy.

THIS HAS TO CHANGE.

We won’t pretend it will be easy. The shooting industry has deep roots. Ending it will take years of sustained effort: changing minds, challenging policies, and building a movement large enough to matter.

Attitudes to animals in the UK have changed dramatically in a generation. What was once normal becomes unacceptable – and what is unacceptable becomes illegal.
